The company was founded in 1983 (Ceramic Drying Systems Ltd) with the objective of providing the most comprehensive service possible to the Ceramics Industry and to introduce modern and technologically advanced techniques to the manufacturing processes. Since that time, partly due to the company’s growing reputation for customer service resulting in substantial repeat business and partly through its innovative Research and Development programme, the company has grown to a stage where it is now the largest specialist ceramics drying company in the world.
CDS operate on a global basis and have successful installations operating in close on 100 different countries. In order to service those countries, CDS has established a comprehensive chain of associates, representatives and partnerships and has part ownership in several trading and manufacturing companies abroad.

All drying systems manufactured and supplied by CDS are bespoke designed against each customers unique requirements - there is no such thing as a 'standard' drying system.
Our Scope-of-Supply ranges from a complete turn-key installation to the supply of Specialist Parts only from the UK, with fabricated parts being manufactured locally against our detailed engineering drawings. Apart from taking advantage of lower 'local' costs, shipping costs are reduced.
CDS Group have a well-established manufacturing facility in-house, CDS Fabrications.
